Acacia are a genus of trees in the Fabacea family, many of which are native to Australia, and commonly known as the mimosa, thorntree or wattle. Acacias have feathery 'pinnate' leaves and although some are hardy in the milder areas of the UK, most prefer warmer conditions.
Acacia Baileyana Purpurea was filmed in Trebah, and Birmingham Botanical Gardens (although it was not shown in the latter series).
Acacia Dealbata was filmed in Kew but this has not yet been shown on my Youtube channel.
